Vera Punke, born in 1915, spend most of her life in Rhode Island and Florida before eventually settling down in Virginia. She spent her professional time as a newspaper correspondent and successful business owner, who still brings her bright and vibrant energy to her community after all these years, states Sunrise Senior Living.
The facility says that despite her age, residents can find Vera walking around in her high heels enjoying several hobbies such as bridge, happy hour, and gardening.
For her birthday, Sunrise Senior Living is throwing Vera a party with cake, live music, and cocktails. Happy Birthday, Vera!
